Dr. Vasily Kulchenko earned his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto, Ontario. After graduating in 2018, he moved to Alberta where he spent three years in private practice serving the northern and southern communities.

After visiting and exploring Vancouver Island, Dr. Kulchenko and his wife decided to settle in Nanaimo, BC, to enjoy the beautiful nature and endless trails. When an opportunity became available in Nanaimo, Dr. Kulchenko joined the Northfield Dental Clinic team. Today, Dr. Kulchenko works full-time at the Northfield Dental Clinic. Dr. Kulchenko focuses his treatments on the importance of maintaining oral health and believes it is the key to preventing oral disease and creating a healthy smile and body.

Continuing Education is an essential aspect of his practice. Dr. Kulchenko is an active member of various esteemed and internationally recognized learning platforms. In his spare time, Dr. Kulchenko enjoys his time with his family, art and exploring the wonders of Vancouver Island.
