Born in Uganda but raised in Vancouver, B.C., Dr. Wilston has international training. He obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Otago in New Zealand, and the completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Master of Dentistry at Griffith University on the Gold Coast in Australia.

Prior to moving to Nanaimo, he spent the majority of his career serving the regional and rural communities of Queensland, Australia.

Dr. Wilston recognizes that going to the dentist can feel daunting. He prides himself on making each patient’s experience a pleasant one, encouraging regular visits to prevent and control oral disease.

Like all of our dentists at the Northfield Dental Clinic, Dr. Wilston continues to evolve his skills to benefit his patients. To be a healthcare practitioner is to be continuously learning and refining, and he takes this to heart.
