Did you know you can now straighten your teeth without traditional orthodontic wires? Invisalign® are clear, removable aligners that offer a more comfortable, discrete approach to teeth straightening.

How does Invisalign® treatment work?

Your path to your brand-new smile begins with 3 easy steps:

Step One
A consultation with our Nanaimo dentists can help you determine if Invisalign is right for you. Once assessed, impressions of your teeth will be taken to begin your custom treatment plan.

Step Two
Start transforming your smile right from your first fitting. Your doctor will ensure your aligners fit well, answer your questions, and let you know what to expect.

Start wearing your aligners. When you pick up your first custom aligners, your doctor will examine your smile, ensuring our high standards are met.
Regular doctor check-ins. You’ll likely schedule face-to-face check-ups every 6-8 weeks to check your progress and pick up the next batch of aligners.
Your routine, uninterrupted. Your invisalign aligners are virtually transparent and easy to take out, so you can keep brushing and eating as you normally would.

Step Three
You transformed your smile with the world’s most advanced clear aligner system. Now it’s easy to keep the smile you love. Vivera retainers are custom made and 30% stronger than other retainers.

All FAQs
Does your clinic offer sedation options?

Yes! We offer two options to make your appointment more comfortable. We can administer oral sedatives one hour prior to your appointment that will make you quite relaxed and calm for your dental treatment. You will be required to have a responsible adult accompany you to and from your appointment if you take oral sedatives. We also administer nitrous oxide known as “laughing gas” for patients who would prefer to leave and go about their day immediately after their appointment with no after-effects.

Do you do wisdom tooth extractions?

Yes! Most wisdom tooth extractions can be done in our office. Very occasionally we may need to refer a patient to a specialist to extract wisdom teeth.

How soon can I be seen if I have an emergency?

We always make our best efforts to see dental emergencies on the same day. Although this cannot be guaranteed, we will see you to assess your dental emergency as soon as we possibly can. Pain, swelling, bleeding, or redness may indicate a dental emergency.

Which methods of payment are accepted?

We accept cash, cheque, VISA, Mastercard and AMEX.
